Travel ASL Interpreter | Gonzales, Louisiana

A school-based opportunity is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to provide communication support in an educational setting. This travel position is based in Gonzales, LA, and requires proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) to facilitate effective communication for students with hearing impairments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret spoken language into sign language and vice versa during classroom instruction and school events
• Ensure clear and accurate communication between students, teachers, and staff
• Support students’ understanding of educational material through effective interpreting
• Collaborate with educators and other support personnel to meet students’ communication needs

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language with experience interpreting in an educational environment
