Requirements and Preferred Experience:
- Valid certification as a Sign Language Interpreter
- Minimum of 3.5 on the EIPA assessment
- Previous experience supporting students in educational settings is highly valued
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality within a school environment
- Flexibility to adapt to student and classroom needs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret spoken language into sign language and vice versa during classroom lessons and school activities
