Qualifications:

• EIPA score of 4.0 or above, or fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) with experience as a paraprofessional.
• Prior background as a Sign Language Interpreter in a school environment is highly valued.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with students, teachers, and staff.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, 1:1 interpreting to a 4th grade student within a general education classroom.
• Work Monday-Friday, 7:50am – 2:15pm, for a total of 30 hours per week.
• Facilitate clear communication between student, peers, and educators.
• Foster student engagement and inclusive participation in all school activities.
