Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Sign Language Interpreter; EIPA Score of 3.5 or above (must provide documentation)
• Experience in educational settings preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to support students from K-8th grade (John Powers Center) or 9th-12th grade (Grayslake North High School) – applicants must specify desired position

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct interpreting services for deaf and hard-of-hearing students in classroom and school environments
• Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and staff
• Adapt signing to meet the needs of individual students and class environments
• Collaborate with educational teams to ensure student success
• Maintain confidentiality and professional ethics
