What we’re seeking:

• Demonstrated proficiency in American Sign Language
• Experience as a Sign Language Interpreter in educational settings
• Confidence teaching and supporting ASL learning for students and staff
• Commitment to confidentiality and student advocacy

• Familiarity with school routines and classroom protocols
• Certification or licensure for ASL interpreting (if required by state)

Daily responsibilities include:

• Interpreting classroom discussions, presentations, and activities
• Supporting students, staff, and parents to bridge communication gaps
• Encouraging an inclusive classroom environment
• Assisting educators in integrating ASL into lessons
• Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with support professionals
• Adapting as needed to student needs or learning styles
