Qualifications:

• EIPA Score of 4.0 (performance and written) and listed on the Louisiana Interpreter Registry (LCDC Interpreter Registry – Dept. of Health)
• RID and NIC certifications accepted (with written exam), with mandatory Registry listing
• Previous experience as a Sign Language Interpreter in educational settings preferred
• Ability to pass district-required fingerprints and drug screening, in addition to standard credentialing
• Passion for advocating for and supporting high school-aged students

Responsibilities:

• Provide interpreting services for high school students in classroom and extracurricular settings
