Requirements:
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Experience interpreting in educational settings is highly preferred
- Professional certification (such as EIPA, RID, or NIC) is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to various learning environments and student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation for students, teachers, and staff in classrooms and school events
- Facilitate effective communication between deaf/hard-of-hearing individuals and others
- Support individualized education plans (IEPs) and ensure accurate language access
