Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Sign Language Interpreter in the state of North Carolina
- Experience interpreting in school settings is highly desirable
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and familiarity with interpreting in educational environments

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work cooperatively with students, teachers, and support staff

Primary Responsibilities:
- Interpret classroom instruction, lessons, and activities for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Facilitate communication between students, educators, and peers using sign language

- Support students’ academic and social development through effective communication services
- Maintain accurate and confidential records as required by school policies
