Qualifications:

  • Certification or qualification as a Sign Language Interpreter
  • Prior experience in educational or school settings preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively using ASL
  • Familiarity with working alongside Teachers of the Deaf (TODs), FM systems, and cochlear implant technology

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-class and individualized sign language interpretation for students
  • Collaborate with instructional staff and support the use of assistive technology (FM system, cochlears)
  • Contribute to a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Deliver services for 5 weeks during ESY, with potential to continue throughout the academic year
