Qualifications and Experience:

• Current National Sign Language Interpreter Certification required

• Previous experience in a school environment preferred

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to upholding the confidentiality and rights of students

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately interpret spoken communication into ASL, and vice versa, in classroom and school activities
• Facilitate effective communication for students, faculty, and staff
• Support students’ participation in academic and extracurricular programs
• Proactively collaborate with teachers and specialists to optimize student learning
• Maintain professional standards and documentation as required by the district
