Key Qualifications:

• State Interpreter License required (ASL, Spanish preferred; MSL experience is a strong asset)
• Prior experience as a Sign Language Interpreter in educational settings
• Demonstrated skill in interpreting for middle school students or similar age groups
• Bilingual proficiency (ASL and Spanish) highly desirable
• Ability to commit to a consistent, all-day schedule through the contract end date

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated 1:1 interpretation services for a middle school student during all school-related activities
• Foster clear communication between the student, their peers, and educational staff
• Support the student’s full participation in lessons, activities, and social interactions
• Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold professional standards
• Adapt interpreting techniques to meet student needs across classroom and supplemental learning environments
