As an interpreter, you will facilitate clear and effective communication between students, staff, and faculty, ensuring equal access to educational materials, classroom discussions, and school activities. Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid EIPA score of 4.0 or higher required
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Previous experience interpreting in K-12 educational settings preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, students, and school staff
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional ethics

Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate and timely ASL interpreting for students during classes, assemblies, and school events
• Adapt signing to meet diverse needs, including varying communication styles and academic subjects
