Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate accurate and clear communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and hearing individuals during classes, meetings, and school events.
  • Interpret spoken English into American Sign Language (ASL) and vice versa with precision and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with educators, students, and families to support an inclusive learning environment.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions.
