Sign Language Interpreter in Medford, OR

Four dedicated, certified professionals are needed to work onsite with K-12 students in a vibrant school environment, offering direct communication access and fostering inclusive educational experiences. This fully onsite contract position spans from August 24, 2026, through June 11, 2027, and provides a meaningful chance to make a difference every single day.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Oregon SLI Certification/Licensure required
• Demonstrated proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Previous experience interpreting in K-12 educational settings preferred
• Strong sense of professionalism, reliability, and confidentiality
• Flexibility to work across sites in Rosenburg and Douglas, OR
• Strong communication skills and collaborative attitude

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide sign language interpretation for students, staff, and families in classroom and school settings
• Facilitate communication to ensure accessibility and equal educational opportunities
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and related service providers to support student success
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with policies and procedures
• Adapt interpretations for a variety of academic subjects and grade levels, K-12
