Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret spoken language into ASL and voice/sign for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing during classroom instruction, assemblies, and school events
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and other service providers to ensure students have appropriate language access for all educational activities
  • Assist in preparing instructional materials as needed to support student learning
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for students, encouraging academic and social engagement
  • Maintain accurate records of services provided and participate in student planning meetings when requested
