Key Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
  • Experience interpreting in educational or classroom settings preferred
  • Ability to support students new to sign language—no advanced or complex signs needed
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Certification or licensure as a Sign Language Interpreter, as required by state guidelines

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate communication between Kindergarten students and teachers using basic ASL
  • Help students develop confidence and foundational skills in sign language
