Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students, teachers, and other staff members in classrooms and school events.
  • Translate spoken English into American Sign Language (ASL) and vice versa, accurately conveying information in real time.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop effective communication strategies.
