This on-site opportunity offers a full-time, consistent weekday schedule from August 19, 2026, through June 2, 2027. You’ll work one-on-one with a 5th grader in a Life Skills classroom, helping to create an inclusive, supportive educational experience.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Valid Sign Language Interpreter credentials
- Successful completion of EIPA with a score of 3.5 or higher
- Commitment to a 35-hour workweek, 7:20 AM – 2:10 PM, M–F
- Experience in an educational setting, preferably with students requiring life skills support
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Your Impactful Responsibilities:
- Provide direct sign language interpretation for a 5th grade student in a Life Skills classroom
- Facilitate clear, effective communication between student, peers, and staff
- Support academic engagement and social participation
- Collaborate with teachers and special education teams
