Key Qualifications:
- VQAS Level 3 certification or EIPA score of 3.0 or above (required)
- Demonstrated proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)

- Strong understanding of educational interpreting best practices

Role Responsibilities:
- Interpret classroom instruction and school activities for four designated students (K, 2nd, 10th, and 12th grades)
- Serve as a communication bridge between students, teachers, peers, and support staff
- Adapt interpreting style to match each student’s language needs and learning goals
- Maintain ethical standards and confidentiality at all times
- Attend required meetings and participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) discussions as needed
- Provide ongoing feedback to educational teams about student progress and interpreting effectiveness
