Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Sign Language Interpreter.
• Minimum EIPA score of 3.5.
• Experience interpreting in educational or school settings preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly in both American Sign Language and spoken English.
• Strong sense of professionalism, reliability, and ethical practice.
• Flexibility to be assigned to one of several school sites.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate, real-time interpretation for students, staff, and parents during classroom instruction, activities, and meetings.
• Support students in accessing the curriculum and participating fully in school life.
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and IEP teams to ensure communication needs are met.
