Qualifications & Experience:

• NAD (National Association of the Deaf) Certification or EIPA (Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment) Certification with a score of 4.0 or above
• Proven proficiency in American Sign Language and educational interpreting settings
• Experience supporting children or youth in K-12 schools is preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a team-oriented mindset
• Ability to adapt rapidly to dynamic classroom environments and student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Facilitate real-time American Sign Language interpretation in classroom settings, ensuring clear communication between students and staff
• Assist in instructional activities, helping students access curriculum content
• Support both individual and group learning opportunities for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families to maximize student success
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times in accordance with school guidelines

Position Details:

• Full-time schedule: 32.5 hours per week
• Serve one dedicated school campus for the full academic year
