Key Qualifications:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Previous experience as a Sign Language Interpreter, preferably in educational environments
• Strong understanding of Deaf culture and commitment to impartial, accurate interpretation
• Certification (such as RID or state-level certification) is highly desirable
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with students, educators, and staff
• Adaptability to work in different classrooms, grade levels, or school activities as required

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate and confidential ASL interpretation for students, teachers, and staff during classes, school functions, and special events
