Key Qualifications:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Experience providing interpretation in educational settings preferred
• Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) certification, or state equivalent, strongly desired

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
• Strong organizational skills and reliability

What You’ll Do:

• Interpret classroom instruction, discussions, and school events for D/deaf and hard of hearing students
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and administrators to support students’ educational needs
• Prepare for assignments by familiarizing with lesson plans and materials
• Facilitate clear, accurate communication between students and school personnel
• Maintain records and document services as required
• Support the social and academic development of students by enabling full participation in all school activities
