Qualifications & Experience:
- Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and English
- Proven experience interpreting in educational settings
- Certification from a recognized credentialing body (such as EIPA, RID, or state equivalent)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Adaptability and a commitment to student-centered support
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services for deaf and hard-of-hearing students in classrooms and school events
- Facilitate communication between students, teachers, staff, and parents
- Support the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
