Key Qualifications:

• Valid VQAS Level 2 or higher, or EIPA score of 3.5 or higher
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Experience working as a Sign Language Interpreter or ASL Teacher in educational settings preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to support students and collaborate with educators

Primary Responsibilities:

• Interpret classroom instruction and activities for students who are Deaf or hard of hearing
• Facilitate communication between students, staff, and peers using ASL
• Support student learning and engagement in a school environment
