Key Qualifications:
- Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) and familiar with educational interpreting for middle school students.
- Possess certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (such as EIPA, RID, or state equivalent).
- Previous experience supporting students in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and staff.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism within an academic environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver real-time sign language interpreting services in a variety of classroom and school-related settings for an 8th grade student.
