Key Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL), particularly at the foundational level
  • Previous experience as a Sign Language Interpreter is highly valued

  • Ability to adapt to classroom routines and collaborate with educational staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret classroom instruction and activities in ASL for Kindergarten students
  • Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and peers

  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Provide daily half-day support throughout the school year from August to June, with the potential for contract renewal
