What you’ll bring:

  • Credentials as a qualified Sign Language Interpreter (schools experience preferred)
  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
  • Ability to work with a medically fragile student (with a vent and trach; experience a plus)
  • Compassion, patience, and adaptability in dynamic environments
  • Availability to start the second week in August

Your role will include:

  • Providing sign language interpretation for a 4-year-old PreK student during school hours
  • Collaborating with educational and medical support teams
  • Assisting with communication and access to curriculum
  • Supporting student comfort and participation in the classroom
