Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid certification or relevant credentials in Sign Language Interpreting
- Demonstrated proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Experience working with children or in educational settings preferred
- Strong listening, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exhibit professionalism at all times
- Flexibility to adapt to a variety of classroom subjects and activities
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret spoken language into ASL and vice versa for students, teachers, and staff in classrooms and school functions
