1:1 Sign Language Interpreter in Rock Hall, MD

A full-time Educational American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter position is available in Rock Hall, MD, serving an elementary student in a 1:1 capacity. This role spans the school year from August 24, 2026, through May 2027, with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing skilled ASL interpretation to support an elementary student’s communication needs within the school environment
• Collaborating with educational staff to ensure effective communication access and inclusion
• Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all student interactions
• Adapting interpretation strategies to meet the individual needs of the student

Qualifications and experience desired:

• An EIPA (Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment) score of 4.0 or higher or RID/NIC certification
