Assignment Details:

  • School year: 2026/27
  • Setting: Elementary school (K-5th)
  • Schedule: Full Time (35 hours/week), Monday-Friday, 7:30 am – 3:00 pm
  • Type: Travel position

Qualifications:

  • Valid national certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (EIPA, RID, or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Professionalism and adaptability in dynamic school settings

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret classroom instruction and student communication for D/HH students
  • Partner with educators to support student integration and comprehension
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to district interpreter guidelines
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment for all students
