Your mornings will start at 7:35 am alongside a supportive school team. This assignment emphasizes individual student support, giving you the opportunity to truly make a difference.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
• EIPA score of 3.4 or higher
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and strong interpreting skills
• Prior experience working with school-age children, preferably at the middle school level
• Ability to adjust communication strategies based on the student’s unique needs
• Reliable, punctual, and collaborative attitude

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide interpreting services for a middle school student during classroom instruction, school events, and daily interactions
