A long-term opportunity is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to support a 5th-grade student in a school setting located in Sahuarita, AZ. This contract role begins immediately following the winter break and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on a young learner’s educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clear and accurate sign language interpretation for a 5th-grade student during classroom instruction and school activities
• Facilitate communication between the student, teachers, and peers to ensure full participation and understanding
• Collaborate with educational staff to support the student’s learning needs in accordance with their Individualized Education Program (IEP)
• Maintain confidentiality and professional standards at all times

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with experience interpreting in educational environments
• Ability to work effectively with children and adapt to different teaching styles
• Knowledge of educational terminology and classroom procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
