Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current national certification (RID or EIPA preferred) or proof of Minnesota state requirements for educational interpreters
  • Previous experience in K-12 school settings is highly desirable
  • Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) and English
  • Adaptable, compassionate, and able to work well in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong communicator with a commitment to confidentiality and student support

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate clear and accurate communication between students, educators, and staff using American Sign Language
  • Interpret a variety of classroom activities, meetings, and school events
  • Support student participation and inclusion in both academic and extracurricular activities
  • Collaborate with educational teams to support student success
