Key Qualifications:

  • Valid NAD Certification or EIPA Certification with a score of 4.0 or higher
  • Experience providing sign language interpretation in educational settings, preferably with K-12 students
  • Strong understanding of deaf culture, American Sign Language (ASL), and interpreting ethics
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • Genuine commitment to creating inclusive learning environments for all students

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Interpret spoken language into ASL and vice versa during classroom instruction, meetings, and school events
  • Facilitate communication among teachers, students, and staff to enhance educational experiences

  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to professional standards at all times
