Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• 4.0 EIPA credential or NIC certification; willingness to secure Kentucky licensure if not already held
• Prior experience interpreting in K-12 school settings highly valued
• Proficiency in academic and conversational sign language
• Strong understanding of interpreting ethics and confidentiality standards
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively with students, faculty, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver interpreting services for students and staff who are deaf or hard of hearing within classroom and school activities
