  • Certification or relevant credentials in sign language interpretation are highly desired
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset

Your Responsibilities:

  • Interpret spoken communication into sign language (and vice versa) during classroom instruction, assemblies, meetings, and other school functions
  • Serve as a communication bridge between students, teachers, and other staff members
  • Maintain confidentiality of student information and support an inclusive educational environment
  • Adapt interpreting techniques based on students’ individual needs and educational levels
  • Prepare in advance for specialized classroom activities or unique learning situations when needed
  • Participate in meetings or professional development, as required
