Key Qualifications:
- National or state certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (SLI)

- Prior experience in an educational setting is highly desirable
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, parents, and administrators
- Strong sense of professionalism, confidentiality, and reliability
Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one sign language interpretation for a student throughout the school day
- Accurately interpret classroom lessons, instructions, and discussions between staff and the student
- Support the student’s integration and participation in all aspects of school life
- Work closely with educators to adapt content and ensure accessibility
- Maintain proper documentation, following school guidelines and protocols
- Encourage the student’s confidence and advocate for their needs as part of the educational team
