Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) – Full-Time- 2026–2027 School Year

Soliant Education is hiring a full-time, onsite Sign Language Interpreter to provide 1:1 support for a student in the Smithfield, VA area.

Pay: $40–$45/hour
Type: W-2 Contract
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
Benefits: Medical, Dental, 401(k)

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 sign language interpreting throughout the school day
• Support student access to classroom instruction and communication
• Collaborate with teachers, SLPs, and staff
• Foster an inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

• Minimum 3.5 EIPA score required
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Strong communication skills
