What you'll bring to the role:
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Previous experience working as a Sign Language Interpreter, preferably in educational environments
- Familiarity with IEP processes and an understanding of the needs of deaf/hard-of-hearing students
- Ability to interpret academic material in a clear, accurate, and culturally appropriate manner
- Strong communication skills and professionalism
- Flexibility and teamwork skills to adapt to various classroom situations
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver reliable ASL interpretation during classes, activities, and school meetings
