Applicants meeting one of the following are encouraged to apply:

  • Possess a 4.0 EIPA or are NIC-certified and willing to obtain a Kentucky interpreter license
  • Prior experience in educational interpreting, classroom instruction, or supporting DHH (Deaf and Hard of Hearing) students
  • Skills in both interpreting and ASL teaching within school settings
  • Excellent collaboration, adaptability, and organizational abilities

What you'll do:

  • Interpret in classroom and extracurricular activities for K-12 students
  • Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to support educational goals
  • Prepare and deliver ASL instruction as needed
  • Ensure clarity and accessibility for all DHH students within the school
