An exciting contract opportunity is available for skilled professionals to provide sign language interpreting and educational support in a highly reputable, supportive school district near Spring Hill, TN. This role spans the 2026-2027 academic year and offers the chance to make a direct, positive impact on the learning environment for early elementary students.

Ideal candidates will be working onsite, 1:1 with a student in an inclusive, dedicated setting. Two positions are open—perfect for professionals seeking meaningful engagement within a collaborative school community.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Sign Language Interpreter certification
  • EIPA Score of 3.5 or higher required
  • Experience working in school settings preferred
  • Previous experience supporting students with sign language needs
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • School Psychologist experience beneficial, but not required for interpreter roles

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver accurate, effective sign language interpretation for a single elementary student throughout the school day
  • Work closely with teachers, staff, and administrators to ensure inclusive access to curriculum and activities
  • Support the student’s social, academic, and emotional development
  • Adapt interpreting techniques to various educational settings
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Fully onsite presence—remote or VOCO work is not available for this role
