Desired Qualifications:

  • National Interpreter Certification (NIC), EIPA, or equivalent credential preferred
  • Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and knowledge of Deaf culture
  • Previous experience interpreting in a school setting is advantageous
  • Flexibility and adaptability to diverse classroom environments
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, students, and school staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate clear communication between Deaf or Hard of Hearing students and staff
