This assignment runs from now through June 18, 2027, based on the student calendar for 180 days, with a schedule of 7 hours per day, 35 hours each week, at Kent Island High School.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 75% on the EIPA written assessment and either a 4.0 EIPA score, or active NIC or RID certification
- Experience working in 1:1 or small group educational settings (required)
- At least 2 years of recent interpreter experience strongly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide full-time 1:1 sign language interpretation for students
- Foster an inclusive learning environment for students requiring ASL support
- Collaborate closely with educators and school staff to ensure comprehensive educational access
- Maintain professional confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines
