Desired Qualifications:

• Valid EIPA score of 3.5 or higher
• Proven experience as a Sign Language Interpreter, Special Education Teacher, or working in a school setting
• Strong knowledge of ASL (American Sign Language) and familiarity with various communication modalities for students with diverse needs
• Ability to adapt to different classroom dynamics and team structures
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-person sign language interpretation for students, supporting both academic and extracurricular activities
• Collaborate daily with educators, related service providers, and families to ensure students’ needs are met
• Assist with lesson access and classroom participation to promote student engagement and inclusion
• Maintain strict confidentiality and professional boundaries in all matters
• Monitor student progress, documenting successes and challenges for ongoing support planning
• Work across multiple school locations as needed, never in a virtual capacity

This position starts as soon as possible and extends through June 4, 2027, offering a consistent 37.5-hour weekly schedule.
