Qualifications/ Desired Experience:
- National certification in Sign Language Interpreting (EIPA, RID, or equivalent preferred)
- Previous experience interpreting in K–12 settings strongly valued
- Familiarity with IEP processes and collaborating with special education teams
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Adaptable, team-oriented, and passionate about supporting student success
Responsibilities/ Duties:
- Provide sign language interpreting for students, educators, and school staff
- Facilitate fluent communication in academic settings, including classroom instruction, assemblies, and meetings
- Collaborate with educational staff to support students’ individualized learning goals
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
- Flexibly assist in diverse educational activities as needed
