Essential Qualifications:

  • Eligibility to interpret in K-12 educational settings
  • Either: EIPA level 3+ OR
  • RID certification: NIC, NAD, or Educational Certification (K-12 or OTC)
  • Ability to complete district's two-part onboarding process and required credentialing documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site Sign Language Interpreter services for students (predominantly 1:1 support)
  • Foster effective communication between students, teachers, and school staff
  • Complete required district documentation and timesheets weekly
  • Collaborate with educators to support student inclusion
