Soliant VocoVision is seeking a skilled Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) to provide interpretation services for students in Georgia schools.
Position Overview
- Full-time and part-time openings available
- School-based virtual interpreting role
- 1099 Independent Contractor
- Contract for the school year with potential renewal
Requirements
- EIPA score of 3.5 or higher required
- Active Georgia PSC certification required
- School-based interpreting experience preferred (K–12)
Responsibilities
- Provide real-time sign language interpretation for students in academic settings
- Support classroom instruction and participation across subjects
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
- Assist in IEP meetings and ensure accurate communication access
- Maintain professional interpreting standards and confidentiality
Interview Process
- 10-minute recruiter screening call
- 15–20-minute skills/tech screening
- 30-minute virtual school district interview
