A contract opportunity is available for a Sign Language Interpreter specializing in telehealth services in an educational setting located in Bourbonnais, IL. This role requires expertise in sign language interpretation supporting students and staff via remote communication platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate accurate and effective communication between Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing students and educational staff through sign language interpretation.
• Conduct interpreting services in telehealth environments, ensuring accessibility during virtual meetings, consultations, and instructional sessions.
• Collaborate with educational personnel to adapt communication methods as needed to support diverse learner needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all relevant laws and ethical standards regarding student privacy and communication access.

Qualifications:

• Certification or proven experience as a Sign Language Interpreter.
