Virtual Sign Language Interpreter | Alabama

A contract position is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to support a 14-year-old student through telehealth services. This role requires expertise in sign language interpreting within educational settings, ensuring effective communication and accessibility for the student.

Location: Cordova, AL
Schedule: 30 hours per week
Duration: Immediate start with assignment through May 21st

Responsibilities include:

• Providing accurate and clear sign language interpretation during telehealth sessions to facilitate communication between the student and educational professionals
• Collaborating with educators and therapists to support the student’s learning needs
• Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
• Adapting interpreting techniques to meet the individual requirements of the student
